WelcomeScreen is a smart digital signage platform designed for vacation rentals and hospitality businesses. It lets hosts display personalized guest welcomes, property info, and local recommendations directly on TVs.
When using Google TV with WelcomeScreen, the app will automatically launch each time the TV is turned on, showing your customized welcome screen for guests.
Begin by installing the app on your TV. Go to the Apps section and search for “WelcomeScreen” (as one word). Look for the app with three blue square logos, select it, and proceed with the download.
After downloading the app, open it. As soon as you do, a pop-up will appear asking you to enable auto-launch. Select Allow, and you’ll be redirected to the settings page. Scroll down to find WelcomeScreen and enable the permission. Once that’s done, press the back button, and you’ll be taken straight into your WelcomeScreen app.
After granting permission, the app will prompt you to enter a 6-digit OTP. You can generate this OTP from your WelcomeScreen dashboard. Simply enter the code, and your guests will be able to view your customized WelcomeScreen dashboard on the TV.
The WelcomeScreen app will automatically launch on Google TV and compatible Google devices such as Google Streamer, Onn 4K, and Onn 4K Plus/Pro.
