Signing up for the WelcomeScreen app in simple steps to create a welcoming experience on your site. This guide will ensure a smooth signup process, making your property stand out as a good company in the hospitality community.
First things first, head over to the WelcomeScreen website. Once you're there, click on the “Start Free Trail” button and click on it to create your account. It’s quick and easy—just follow the prompts, and you’ll be ready to go! By signing up, you join a community of users who benefit from this innovative software solution.
Once after sign up, it’s time to choose a subscription plan. You can pick between a Standard or Pro plan, depending on what works best for you and your customers. Once you make your choice, click on the plan that suits your business needs. This flexibility in scheduling payments makes it easier to manage your budget.

After selecting your plan, you'll be directed to a payment page where you can enter your card details. You can pay using a credit card, debit card, Apple Pay, or any other available payment method. Once you've entered all the required information, simply click on “Start Trial” to proceed..
Once your account is successfully created, you’ll be prompted to connect WelcomeScreen with your Property Management System (PMS). We strongly recommend enabling this integration, as it allows WelcomeScreen to automatically import your property and reservation details—streamlining your setup and saving you time. This seamless connection not only enhances efficiency but also ensures your guests receive a smooth, personalized experience
No worries if you’re not using a PMS—there’s also an option to add your properties manually with ease.
If you're using a PMS, simply click on “Sync Properties”, select your PMS, and your property details will be imported automatically. If you’re not using a PMS, no problem—you can manually add your properties by clicking “Add Properties.” It’s quick and easy—just fill in the required information. This step is essential to customize the platform to suit your specific needs.
After setting up your properties, navigate to the Properties screen and select the property you’d like to configure by clicking the Edit button. From here, you can adjust screen settings, select display themes, and upload images or videos to craft an engaging visual experience.
This section allows hosts to fully customize the display by updating the background image, background music, adding a logo and website details, and entering Wi-Fi credentials, contact information and so on. You can also choose to highlight nearby attractions and events, just note that these features are only available in the second and third layout options.
Everything you configure on this screen plays a key role in delivering a memorable and personalized experience for your guests.
After customizing your property settings, click on “+Add New” to generate a One-Time Password (OTP). This OTP is required to complete the setup on your TV and link it to the WelcomeScreen system. It ensures that all the content you've configured is displayed smoothly, offering a personalized and engaging experience for your guests.
If you’d like to connect additional TVs, simply click on “+Add New” again—each click will generate a new OTP for the corresponding device.
